Ubuntu 13.04 here; same issues as noted above, but with the addition of the touchpad being detected in dmesg, but not working whatsoever. I haven't had the time to sit down and figure it out, but I believe it's related to some xorg.conf mapping that gets doubled up due to multitouch and synaptics still being a black art and confuses the kernel.

I am using Linux Mint (Nadia) on the Toshiba Ultrabook (U940).

Function keys are not working…or rather, they are working as if the Fn key is pressed as well.

For example, Alt+F4 appears as Alt+Suspend in the keyboard shortcuts app (System Tools | System Settings Keyboard). I am therefore unable to close windows using the traditional Alt+F4, and have no idea how to revert to the original state.
