Hi to all :)
I'm a G450 owner and with Ubuntu 10.10 the laptop runs smooth, the Broadcom wireless card was detected and there's two options of drivers to install: the opensource and STA proprietary driver from Broadcom.
With the Hardware detection tool, the system automatically showed the wireless card and informed the need for the driver installation. When the user select one of the avaliable options, just click in the activate button and the download and installation begins.
All works very well, I do not tested the express card reader, though. With Ubuntu 10.10 but with Ubuntu 10.04, the video have glitches in the screen, not every time but I could noticed then. I've did a fresh install to 10.10 and never had this problem again.
1hen I have the oportunity, I'll try Arch Linux, Debian or other distributions to see if any other distro can wokrs as good as Ubuntu 10.10
