i am using compaq 6910p laptop and this has a microphone on the left side of keypad but does not work any one who knows please help me…
Does anyone know of any reason why the fan on my HP Compaq 6910p would not run with a clean installation of Ubuntu 11.10? I bought the machine with no os and installed ubuntu. It works fine but getting very hot!
Ubuntu 11.04 is up and running nicely.Haven't checked wireless or bluetooth.
Shaun, try re seating the power connector and try again. I'm running ubuntu and suspend works well, hibernate does not. I'm in the habit of just using shutdown since my battery isn't working anyway. Which is what brings me here-When it was running vista the battery had a lot of life in it. After the wipe/ubuntu install it will not charge, both power supply and battery tested OK. Thoughts?
i have a HP Compaq 6910p and i put it to standby mode last night and this afternoon it wont power on, no lights when plugged in or anything. any suggestions?
