Hi all,

This netbook is really great with the 7-8 hrs battery life and 11.6” screen.

BUT, I faced many Blue Screens(BSODs) with the intel GMA 500 drivers. Even after updating them from the intel site, i experienced BSODs every 5 mins. SO I had to uninstall this driver which downgraded the resolution to 1024 which made the screen look stretched.
Couldnot figureout any new driver available online till date. Also, I tried IEGD drivers for this but all the efforts were in vain.
So, uninstalled the GMA 500 drivers and runing the default VGA drivers.
If nyone have some info or remedy for this, please reply/ help me.

Sajnos, a gépre gyakorlatilag nem tudok semmilyen linuxot felrakni, mert a poulsbo telepítése után a grafikus rendszer összeomlik (DisplayManager).
Eddig csak az openSuSE 11.2 futott a gépen normálisan, de ott meg a WiFi kártyát (RT2870STA) nem tudtam felismertetni… de én ubuntut akarok.

Hi Sajnos,

I had lubuntu 11.10 with wifi running out of the box.
Just got blackscreen after install but wifi and tty worked.
Thus, installed the EMGD ubuntu drivers with apt-get.
Thats it!!!! Its rocking now.
