Hello,

Have installed Red Hat Enterprise Workstation 6.1 x64 on the G73sw, and am running Slackware 13.37 x64, now. Upgraded RAM to 16GB of Mushkin memory. Primary drive is an OCZ Summit 60GB SSD and secondary drive is 1TB Western Digital. Dual-booting Windows 7 x64 and Slackware on G73sw, now. Also, have G74SX running Windows 7 x64 and Red Hat Workstation 6.1 x64 with a number of VM's on both OS's, as well. 16GB of Kingston HyperX memory. It's primary drive is a Crucial 128GB SSD drive and secondary is the same 1TB Western Digital in the G73sw.
The only time I had the keyboard-lights working was with Ubuntu a month or so ago on the G73sw. You can look up Scott's Auto Repair and G73 keyboard-lights on a Google search and find Scott's page where he has compiled an Ubuntu kernel to allow the keyboard-lights to work using Ubuntu x64 Linux. I haven't taken the time to do much more than install the nVidia video-drivers, updated wireless-drivers, and work with the Bluetooth occasionally. (It's only working every other time, or so… haven't needed for it to function, yet.)
Since Slackware is loaded, now… I'm hoping to have some time to put together patches to the kernel for G73sw-specific functions to work properly, and work on the boot-loader. More source is showing up for hardware, it may not be too long.
