HI Guys! Just purchase a(used) Acer aspire 7741-4449 17.3`laptop! Unfortunatly i just realize that (NUM LOCK) button there is no (Visual light) to make sure that its on or off ´? Also the (CAPS LOCK BUTTON)No visual button light showing on or off ?? I found this very inconvenient ??? So Is there a way to change and purchase a new keeboard adapted to have those features attached to it ??
Tks for ur help !
John :-)

where can i get a ram upgrade from 4 to 8 on my acer aspire 7741z-4433. do i get another 4 gb or replace the 4 with an 8..is it easy for computer challenged person to install

If your 4433 is like my 5731, you remove a single panel. Inside you will find 2 slots for RAM. Both are currently populated with 4GB (2x2GB). You will need to purchase the proper 8gB of RAM (2x4GB) sticks. Pop out the old ones, slide in the new ones and close it up. Please keep in mind that if you are planning on using windows as well, you will be required to use 64 bit software or it will not recognize your 8gB of RAM.

Best Regards,
Z

Running PCLOS linux I can't get the ethernet card (BCM 55770) to work at all. Wireless will connect to an access point, but not ad-hoc.

Correction on the ethernet card. It is a BCM 57780.
