Kia ora,
The black strip inside both of my USB ports has broken off, is there anyone who knows if the ports are separate from the motherboard as i've been told that it will cost NZ$1000 to fix and it only cost me NZ750. It's near new so I don't want to throw it out but also don't want to pay that much to get it fixed. I've done a bit of a pc course and am trying to find the motherboard specs to see what the case is.
Can anyone help? as I need to fix it asap as I use it for my architectural technology course.
